Xplor Spot History
1991 Westgate software: Westgate launched the first version of SPOT, originally created in DOS. The SPOT Classic interface was simple and leveraged what had been learned from the photo processing and video rental industries.
Since then, Westgate software moved forward with a Windows interface, building it from the ground up, relying heavily on customer input. As time went on, SPOT added an array of suites, some of which are still in use today, including CustomerConnect, Dashboard, Gift Cards, DeliveryConnect Mobile, OTS Marketing and many more.
Today, Spot has developed a new and simple user-friendly interface called Connect. Connect uses cutting-edge technology, providing a clean interface that focuses on building the next generation of world-class industry management systems. Connect is Xplor Spot’s most recent innovation, combining ease of use with the power and sophistication of the SPOT software. From Production, Delivery, Marketing, Customer Management, Payments, Business Management, and much more, Xplor Spot can cater to the unique needs and goals of your business.
